Charles: Toucan 3.0 is the new major version of our product. It has been more than a year since we have released a big version update, like this one. The goal of Toucan 3.0 is to make sure that the platform is always the easiest to set up and maintain, on the market.
Q: What is your ambition with Toucan 3.0?
Charles: The ambition with Toucan 3.0 is to revisit all the major workflows from the App Builders, data connection, data reusability, insight creation, insight embedding, and make sure that all those major workflows in the platform are always easy, simple and scalable. So, our ambition is to always be the best in terms of time-to-value, time to create insight and simplicity to go from A to Z.
Q: Why is this new version important? Why now?
Charles: It is very important for us to release this new version, and especially now, because it will be the foundation for what come next for our product and the company. It was a very good moment for us to step back, look at what we have done in the past eight, nine years and revisit all the workflows, listen to our customers needs and make sure that we stayed the best in terms of efficiency and simplicity.
Q: What about tomorrow?
Charles: We have a very big ambition for what is coming next. We want to stick to our vision, which is to empower our customers with Data Storytelling thanks to our customer-facing analytics platform. We will be adding major workflows, innovative ones that do not exist on the market. Firstly, we want to help our customers templatize all the aspects of an application, so they can go from one client to one thousand clients without any additional effort. The second thing that we want to add is personalized insights that will help clients deploy to hundreds, and thousands of customers customized comments, customized experiences, customized layouts, customized look and feel, and we want to scale that from one to ten, hundreds and thousands.
